You start well with Q1 In the upper levels with some good focus on the text and use of narrative theory. If you can reach this level throughout and develop your exam technique you will be looking at the high levels/ grades soon 

Teacher EBI 

For Q2 you need sharper question focus on social and cultural contexts - British culture and ideologies. we'll look of this in class  Q3 needed genre theory 

Question 1: Satisfactory analysis of the product that engages with generally obvious or straightforward aspects of how narrative codes are used.

Question 2: Good knowledge and understanding of the influences of the social and cultural contexts on media products that is usually supported by mostly appropriate and effective reference to the set products.

Questions 3: An excellent knowledge and understanding of the influences of genre on media audiences and industries that is consistently supported by highly appropriate and effective examples.

3: I should revise for the theory that is based on the question to get more marks.

4: in question 1 i could have include narrative theory such as todorov,prop etc to get more mark. And in question 3 I could also have include genre theory.

5: my weakness question is question 1. 3 things I can improve next time is …

- Need to knowledge on genre and theories

- I need to try adding theroissts names and how they link the questions I can do this by making flashcards remembering years and dates of the different theories 

- try focusing on Q3 and focus on 12 marker as it has more marks out of Q1, Q2, Q3

  1) Why is representation an important concept in Media Studies?                                                                                  Representation-   It refers to how aspects of the real world, such as people, events, cultures, and ideas, are presented and constructed in media texts. e verything that appears in the media is a  representation . They carry particular meanings or values. 2) How does the example of Kate Middleton show the way different meanings can be created in the media?
